The Trials

Five unique chambers inspired by Wu Xing — the five Chinese elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. Each room has its own mechanics and challenge. Collect one artifact per room — the correct artifacts unlock the final altar.

Visual World

The chambers reflect the five elements through a cinematic temple setting. Reclaimed jungle, atmospheric details, and visual contrast help shape a world defined by imbalance, mystery, and the fragile return of harmony.

Speed & Score

Score is based on how fast you solve each room — the faster, the higher. A per-room timer and a total timer track your full run. When the cycle is completed, your final result can earn a place on the highscore list. But move with care — mistakes can break the flow and cost you precious time.

Soundscape

Immersive background music and sound effects enhance the atmosphere in each room. In accordance with game rules, audio is set to off by default to ensure a controlled start. Sound can be toggled on or off at any time.

Progression

A progress bar tracks how far you've come through the temple. Your run is saved automatically, so you can return later and continue where you left off. Leave during a chamber, and you’ll re-enter from the start of that room — keeping your overall progress, but losing a little momentum.

Accessibility

Fully keyboard navigable throughout the entire game. Screen reader support with ARIA labels and live regions. Focus management between all interactive elements.
